We've designed a custom fiberglass weave for this deck that concentrates the maximum amount of fibers in the direction that counts for stiffness and "pop". Torsional and lateral stresses are absorbed almost entirely by the full length wood core. In other words riders get the most stiffness and pop with the least amount of weight. As a result, Leon's deck is both stiffer and lighter than the original Comp 16 pro. |
