The Vixen is styled after the popular and classic Scooby helmet. With the help of Astrid Ensign, an accomplished woman paddler and graphic designer, we wanted to make a helmet just for women. First we accented the nice flowing lines of the helmet with a ridge which also added rigidity and strength to the shell. Astrid designed the new Shred Ready Dragonfly logo just for this helmet. For 2003 we have added new feminine colors and are offering the Vixen in more tradiational colors. Features: Shredlar Armid Fiber/fiberglass composite construction. Certified CE 1385 international standard for headgear for whitewater sports. Multiple Impact EPP foam liner laminated to closed-cell comfort foam. H.O.G Lock Retention System. Interchangeable compression molded closed-cell foam fitting pads with super plush material that hooks to liner. Soft nylon webbing. Stainless steel rivets and burrs to stop the corrosion. Duraflex fasteners, adjusters, and stops. Four-point retention system that allows to the helmet to beworn forwards or backwards. One-Year limited warranty on workmanship and materials. Helmet Replacement Program: If a helmet's function is compromised by normal use, Shred Ready will exchange it at our cost for a new replacement plus shipping. Limited Warranty: Shred Ready warranties its product for all manufacturing and material defects from a period one-year from the date of purchase for the original purchaser.
